Britney Spears said in a new Instagram post that “the person closest to her” “never showed up”

Pop star Britney Spears lashed out at those who did not help her when she was “drowning” but now publicly expressed support for “saving face.”

Although it is not clear who Spears is referring to in the post, her efforts to end supervision have attracted more and more supporters, and the “Free Britney” movement has united around this issue.
