This is a five-part series covering native classes and decorators, angle brackets and named parameters, tracking attributes, element modifiers, and Glimmer components, all of which are divided into separate blog posts.

Find all the sections in the Ember.js blog: part 1, part 2, Part 3, Part 4 with Part 5.

Just ended from EmberConf, @rtable Opened a new RFC and introduced a new assistant bind Allows explicit parameter and context binding of functions passed in the template.

The idea is to bind The helper receives a function, and then a set of parameters that will be partially applied to the function, similar to JavaScript’s bind method.

View Complete RFC On GitHub!

A new RFC has been proposed @pzuraq Suggest adding a new {{on}} Ember’s modifier. This modifier will allow adding event listeners to elements in the template.

You might be thinking, “Hey Ember Times Writer, we already have these! We have {{action}} Element modifiers and on*= Property binding. “But those have one Some disadvantages It is fixed {{on}} Modifier.

This {{on}} Modifier will use addEventListener Application programming interface.It is based on plugins Embers modification after @buschtoens.

An example: the following usages are equivalent:

<div {{on "click" this.handleClick passive=true}}></div>
element.addEventListener('click', this.handleClick, { passive: true });

So make changes today, and then Let your voice be heard in Open RFC.
