Sony just bought another studio, no, it’s not Bluepoint Games.On Thursday, the company announced , A Dutch developer, known for supporting Crystal Dynamics, IO Interactive and Eidos Montreal in porting some of their games to the PC. Jurjen Katsman, founder and senior director of development at Nixxes, said in a statement: “We can’t wait to start working and are happy to bring our technology and development expertise to IP giants like PlayStation Studios.”
This transaction shows that Sony plans to step up its efforts to introduce more exclusive products to Windows.Last year, the company released with Going to Steam and Epic Games Store, Sony President and CEO Jim Ryan said that more of the company’s first-party games will be available on PC in the future. The purchase of Nixxes also followed Sony’s Acquired Returnal developer Housemarque Earlier this week.
