For the 20th edition New Year’s Countdown We want to see
It allows you to add tours to your Ember application.
What can it do
ember-shepherd The plugin provides an Ember wrapper for the site tour library
shepherd, Which allows you to seamlessly configure your site tour using the Ember service.
It allows you to show your app to new users, introduce new features to existing users, or suggest a process your users might follow to make the best use of your app.
It can be configured to display or not display modal overlays, and can be connected to your existing application flow to conditionally display steps or manual control.
Why i like it
Navigation is an often overlooked feature of the application, which is essential to provide a good user experience. Without them, users may get lost in your application or do things in ways you don’t want.
ember-shepherd Plugins make it much easier to add these useful tours to your Ember application than to manually scroll by yourself. Using the Ember service provided, you can add steps and interact with your trip in the familiar Ember way.
I really like to provide users with these guided tours to ensure that they can quickly grasp the speed of my application, instead of spending a lot of time getting lost in the application and getting a less than ideal experience.
