According to the police, a missing Belarusian activist was found dead in a Ukrainian park one day after his disappearance.

According to Reuters, the Kiev police filed criminal proceedings on suspicion of murder and stated that they would investigate the possibility of a murder disguised as suicide.
A police statement issued on Tuesday said: “Vitaly Shisov, a Belarusian citizen who went missing yesterday in Kiev, was found hanging today in a park in Kiev, not far from his residence.”
Shishov led the Belarusian House in Ukraine team, helping Belarusians find jobs, legal advice and accommodation.
The organization announced on Monday that it could not get in touch with Shisov. He had left home at around 9 am local time and is expected to return in about an hour.
