There's nothing like 'The West Wing' to help shrug off a mild hangover.
I'd forgotten just how addictive it is - the temptation to watch just one more episode is overwhelming, and before you know it you've spent the bulk of the day sat in front of the TV (or computer in my case).
I'm at the live debate stage of the campaign. Just as when I watched it on TV, I'm starting to lean more and more towards Vinick. I like Santos, but I'm just not convinced that he'd be able to convert his grand ideas into practical policies.
BTW - You got any plans to comment in more depth on the US political situation over on your blog?
I don't think so - I'm not following it closely enough to have formed many coherent thoughts. I'm not even sure which of Clinton or Obama I'd prefer...
